Job Title: Media Duplication Clerk (Part-Time – 25 hrs per week)
Dept: Media Production

MAJOR DUTIES:

Responsible to:

  • Fulfill assigned duplication order requests efficiently and on time.
  • Initiate ordering and maintaining of adequate supply stock.
  • Ensure quality control of duplicated items that are distributed.
  • Maintain awareness of sermon series and other major events and speakers in the church, and ensure that duplicated materials are packaged as intended.

Specific Tasks:
Duplicate CDs, DVDs, audio cassettes, videotapes, and other media to fill orders received.
Label Master tapes for archival in the Media Library and maintain a media database.
Maintain status of supplies (including media, printed inserts, etc.) and order as necessary.
Format graphic layouts provided by print to use on CDs/DVDs/packaging.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Media Production Manager.

Supervises:
This position is non-supervisory, however, there will be interaction with volunteers on a regular basis, and leadership will be expected.

Days/Hours:
FLSA: Non-Exempt, part-time. An average of 25 hours per week should be expected with occasional additional hours as the workload dictates.

Compensation Plan:
Part time, hourly, no benefits

Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Specific Experience Required:
Working in a technical support area.
Some graphic design experience preferred.

Specific Skills Required:
Experience with electronics and A/V equipment.
Operational knowledge of Word, Excel and Photoshop.
Basic knowledge of video systems.
Good understanding of grammar, and ability to label products properly.
Good reading and writing skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent multi-tasking skills.

Physical Abilities: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

TITLE: Childcare Worker-Part time
DEPARTMENT: Children’s Ministry
DATE OF POSTING: 4/26/2010

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Teaching and caretaker responsibilities for children ages 0 to 5 years during church services and 0 to 5th grade for special events.

Specific tasks include:
Follow curriculum prepared by Childcare staff with minimal supervision including:
Teaching
Storytelling
Working with children on crafts and interacting with them at play time on their eye level.

Days/Hours:
Part-time approx. 2-5 hours weekly. Currently needing workers for Friday evenings, and Thursday mornings.

Specific Experience/Age Required:
Childcare experience required. Must be 16 years of age or older.

Must have good verbal communication skills to interact with parents.

Physical Abilities (Demand Characteristics):
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to physically pick-up children ages 0 to 3 years and change diapers according to childcare department standards.
