Mobile Dental Clinic
Approximately 10 percent of Memphians are unable to afford the dental care they need. By meeting people’s practical needs, such as dental care, a door is opened to share the Gospel with patients and their families.
Bellevue is partnering with other churches and organizations to open a Mobile Dental Clinic as part of the “Bellevue Loves Memphis” ministry. The mobile clinic is scheduled to arrive on November 1, and the initial goal is for it to operate 150 days each year.
Bellevue and its partners are currently recruiting dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants to staff the clinic.
Be in prayer that this new outreach opportunity will effectively meet practical needs of people in our community and help introduce them to the Savior.
College Student Center
The Bellevue College Ministry’s new College Student Center is scheduled to open in late September. The Center will be located in Poplar Plaza at the corner of Highland and Poplar, with convenient access to Memphis’ major university campuses.
The Student Center will have a coffee/bagel shop and several conversation pits where students can come to hang out. Mid-week worship services will be held for students in addition to special events such as pre-game meals. The facility will also be open to student groups who need a place to meet such as Student Government Associations, sports teams, and Greek organizations. The Student Center will be a fun, modern location where students can come to relax, study, fellowship, and hear the Gospel!
