Aerobics and Fitness at Bellevue

In addition to a walking/jogging track, exercise equipment, and four full basketball courts in the GRACE Building, the Recreation Ministry offers several programs to help you achieve your fitness goals. We have a variety of aerobics classes to meet a variety of needs. Beginner and intermediate classes for ladies meet several times throughout the week to provide a refreshing workout at a pace that is just right for you.

Women's Boot Camp - Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Women's Boot Camp

Boot Camp is a class designed for women, ages 18 and up. It is an interval training class that incorporates HIIT and strength training in a fun, upbeat environment. You will work your heart rate up in a safe, effective way using free weights, resistance bands, body-weight exercises and more. See below for when these classes are offered.

Cost: $95.00 (Unable to commit to a full session, then please bring $5.00 cash with you when you attend, and we will have a paper registration form for you to fill out the first time.)

Refund Policy: A full refund may be issued, if you notify our staff before the 1st class. ONLY partial refunds after the 1st scheduled class.

Mommy & Me Boot Camp - Monday, Thursday @ 9:45 am

Mommy & Me Boot Camp

Mommy & Me Boot Camp is a fitness class for women with children. The class is a mix of cardio and strength training and is perfect for all fitness levels. Classes use weights, resistance bands, and exercise balls to get a full body workout. As your young children attend class with you, they are introduced to a healthy lifestyle.

Cost: $60.00 (Unable to commit to a full session, then please bring $5.00 cash with you when you attend, and we will have a paper registration form for you to fill out the first time.)

Ladies Personal Training

Women's Personal Training

We are excited to have two Personal Trainers now!  Below is some general info on what you can expect from them.

Women may take advantage of customized (from individual to groups of three) Personal Fitness programs designed and conducted by Lori Williams, ACE-certified Ladies Fitness Trainer or Jennifer Wimberly, Certified Exercise Physiologist. During these scheduled, fee-based sessions, a consummate effort is made to determine what elements of an exercise program need to be integrated in a customized fashion to best accommodate each individual client’s current health requirements and safely achieve her ultimate fitness goals.

All varieties of fitness equipment (free weights, bosu balls, bands, treadmills, ellipticals, etc.) are sourced and applied to provide a full range of fitness options. Pricing is dependent upon each client’s needs.

Aerobics

Aerobics

Weights and resistance bands are used to achieve muscle strength. Various cardio movements are used to raise the heart rate to achieve cardio and pulmonary strength. The balance ball, standing balance, and Pilates exercises are used to improve core strength and balance. A time to share and pray together concludes each class meeting.

Each meeting lasts one hour and takes place in Gym C of the Grace Building. The cost of the class is $3 (a senior discount is applied for participants 65 and better). This is a ladies’ class. Child care is not provided. No pre-registration is required for this class.

Water Aerobics

Water aerobics offers strengthening for muscles, heart, lungs and balance. Working the body against the water’s resistance allows for a total body workout. No one is too old to exercise in water. Water aerobics provides an excellent low-impact exercise option for those with joint and muscular restrictions.

Each meeting lasts one hour and takes place in the heated pool at Bellevue Woods. Please note, water aerobics does not meet when inclement weather is in the area. The cost of the class is $3 (a senior discount is applied for participants 65 and better). This is a ladies’ class. Child care is not provided. No pre-registration is required for this class.

  • Monday – 6:15 p.m.
  • Tuesday – 1:45 p.m.
  • Thursday – 1:45 p.m.
  • Thursday – 6:15 p.m.

Glow Class

Diligent work is done to tailor a program that is designed to challenge the ladies who participate in an open gym setting. To resist repetition and to achieve as complete a full-body/cross-training workout as possible, the program each week is built on making certain that basic stretching, exercising, and aerobic maneuvers are integrated in addition to providing a set of exercises designed to focus on specific anaerobic goals that build on a progression from workouts from previous weeks.

Each meeting lasts one hour and takes place in Gym C of the Grace Building. The cost of the class is $4 (a senior discount is applied for participants 65 and better). This is a ladies’ class. Child care is not provided. No pre-registration is required for this class.
