The Sojourners Life Group is a group of retired and nearing retirement couples and singles. Teaching lecture style with some discussion from the class, Butch teaches topical lessons such as: Issues Facing America; Strength of prayer, etc. designed to strengthen the member’s walk with the Lord. Butch and his wife, Shelia, have been married for 50+ years, and have three adult children, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Butch is retired from the U.S. Postal Service (42+ years’ service). He worked in various cities around the Southeastern US and served as Postmaster of Memphis, Atlanta, Savannah, Corinth, Greenville, and Myrtle Beach to name a few. His last assignment was as District Manager over South Florida, Pompano Beach through the Keys. His hobbies are sports (golf), and drawing and painting. He is active in Bellevue’s Prison Ministry and is a deacon.
