Audio Producer


Major Duties:

  • Oversee the broadcast audio control room for worship services and special events.
  • Remix audio for worship services
  • Oversee the audio on video shoots
  • Oversee the audio on all post-production edits

Specific Tasks:  

  • Mix worship services for recording, webcast, and broadcast
  • Provide a weekly remix of all worship, and of specific worship song selects
  • Oversee the acquisition of recorded audio on all shoots
  • Provide dialogue, sound effect, and music audio support on feature videos


Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in video production or equivalent degree, and/or 3-5 years experience in a related field.

Certificate/License Required:  


Specific Experience Required:  

  • Able to operate a live mix of both a choir/orchestra and a praise band
  • Post-production mixing and sweetening
  • Proficient in Pro Tools.

Specific Skills Required:  

  • Understand the edit process, and how acquisition impacts post.
  • Ability shooting multiple setups, from live event to on-set productions.
  • Well versed in audio formats, mixing and mastering techniques.
  • Organized and deadline driven

Typically Saturday Afternoon, Sunday Morning, and Monday -Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30, however often expected to work late and weekends as production needs dictate. Especially during peak seasons, and during big productions like The Singing Christmas Tree and CampOutrageous.

Compensation Plan:  (Exempt or Non-Exempt)

Salary. Exempt.

Safety/Ergonomic Issues:  

Often work with heavy equipment, climbing ladders, etc.  Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to work from heights, lifts, and ladders with hot lights and sensitive equipment.

Physical Abilities:  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Working Conditions:  

Will vary with each day, as shoots will often take place outside, and conditions will flex as the season and weather dictate. Work will involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
