Project Manager

Tasks

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Media projects and task development
  • Serve as the Media Team’s first point of contact for BBC ministries
  • Develop and serve an ongoing relationship with Media Leads
  • Serve as the Media Team’s ASANA lead
  • Conduct project evaluations with ministry partners and internal Team
  • Manage Media Request Form (MRF) automation as able
  • Manage third-party vendors as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Tasks:

Manage incoming MRFs and/or Ministry Requests to ensure details are complete and project(s) or tasks are created and/or handed off well for production.

  • Connect with MRF submitters to gain complete details
  • Ensure MRF has created the proper tasks within Asana
  • Connect dots between Media disciplines when MRFs are filled out incorrectly.
  • Assess the Media Team’s resources available to complete requests with Ministry Excellence.
  • As knowledge of project details change, effectively update task and Project Overview details in Asana

Coordinate Promo Plan discussions with Ministries to include applicable Media resource point persons.

  • Goal = one meeting

Create projects and collaborate with Team leads to build out task lists, due dates, and dependencies in Asana

Establish and manage default file paths and project organization in Office 365

Monitor project and task status, and effectively deliver reporting on high-risk items to supervisors and Media Leadership Team

Effectively provide ongoing communication with BBC ministries to ensure:

  • Clear, complete, and accurate project details
  • Facilitate status updates
  • Follow through (effectively pass on the information to our Team)
  • Connect the ministry with the member of our Team who can provide the solution

Effectively communicate Project/Task details, including status within Media Team:

  • Evaluate Project/Task status followed by communication to Media Leads
  • Updating Master Project details as needed and effectively disseminate information as needed.

Conduct project evaluations and annual ministry partnership evaluations

Requirements

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or equivalent degree, and/or 2-3 years of experience in a related field.

Certificate/License Required:  

None

Specific Experience Required:  

  • Experience in a multi-discipline creative Team
  • Experience managing Team-wide information flow and overseeing project execution
  • Experience driving deadlines and identifying blockers
  • Experience with client-facing project intake and management
