In the Old Testament when a special moment with God was to be remembered it was often marked with a stone, what I call “stones of remembrance.” The words sustaining, providing, and convincing have all been a part of my stones of remembrance.
Ultimately, we have a choice – our view of God can be shaped by our own expectations and experiences, by the perceptions of other people, or by the Word of God itself.
When we grieve our heart realizes the wrongness of this broken world. Death, divorce. and separation became a part of our new reality as a result of disobedience.
