I'm new

Welcome

We believe God is calling us to be a catalyst for spiritual awakening in Memphis and beyond.

About us

From our beginning in 1903, Bellevue has had a long history of ministering to Memphis, the Mid-South, and even around the world. We believe God placed Bellevue in Memphis for a reason.

Doctrine

Here at Bellevue, we believe God made a way for us to know Him. We are a church that believes in the Bible and prays fervently.

Jesus

You can invite Christ to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior today. The moment you call upon His name and receive Him as your Lord and Savior, He makes you a new creation. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).

What to expect

Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or have been following Jesus for decades, we would love for you to Worship with us, join a Group, and Serve alongside our Bellevue family.

Weekend Worship

What does it look like?

For every weekend Worship Service, you can experience Worship in-person or online, a time of prayer, and baptism celebrations.

You'll also hear the Word of God from Pastor Steve Gaines. And occasionally, we will have a guest speaker.

Watch live

Saturdays at 5:00 pm

Worship leaders Jeff Maxwell and Kaleb Gooden will provide an opportunity to Worship our Lord and Savior through a unique blend of the long-standing hymns of the faith mixed with current praise songs. We will pray together, sing, celebrate baptisms, and listen to a message from God’s Word.

Sundays at 9:00 am

During this early Worship Service, you can expect to sing some songs led by our Minister of Music, Mark Blair, who is usually accompanied by the Bellevue Choir and Orchestra. You will be blessed by a message from God’s Word, led by Pastor Steve Gaines, prefaced with baptism celebrations and prayer.

Sundays at 11 :00 am

During this 11:00 am Worship Service, music features our praise band, led by our Contemporary Worship Pastor, Jeff Maxwell. We will pray together, sing, celebrate baptisms, and listen to a message from God’s Word.
