Comprised of faithful volunteers who love music and love Jesus, the Orchestra plays for most of the major events at Bellevue, including Night at the Pops and Singing Christmas Tree, as well as accompanying artists in concert. The repertoire includes traditional sacred pieces and hymns, classical, Cinematic, Broadway, Jazz, and Pops arrangements as well as contemporary Christian songs.
Requirement to Attend (participation in rehearsals): You must have an intermediate (at minimum) performance skill level on an orchestral instrument (Woodwinds, Brass, Strings, Percussion).
Requirements to Join (participation in rehearsals, services, productions, and other events):
- You must be a professing Christian.
- You must be an active church member.
- You must have a Confidential Volunteer Application on file.
- You must be a regular attendee at both rehearsals and performance events.
