CSA Screener

Major Duties:

Effectively check references provided by applicants on the Confidential Safety Application (CSA) as part of Bellevue Baptist Church’s Skillful Screening Process.

Specific Tasks:

  • Remotely call references provided by applicants on CSAs and collect information regarding applicants. In some cases, the employee will obtain references between 5:00 and 7:30 p.m.
  • Conduct reference checks on the references provided by applicants on CSAs in accordance with the church’s policies and procedures.

Supervisor’s Philosophy:

The employee should have the ability to take ownership of effectively collecting information from references. Bellevue has ZERO tolerance for abuse and takes seriously all allegations of abuse. Collecting information from references is a vital part of the church’s Skillful Screening Process to adequately screen CSA applicants for any suspicious risk indicators.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
