Graphic Designer
MediaPrimary Responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and design art for Bellevue communications
- Serve as a Bellevue brand advocate (visual brand elements)
- Provide concepts and treatments for Bellevue ministries and church-wide initiatives
- Design original curriculum content to support Bellevue teaching ministries
- Other duties as assigned
Specific Tasks:
- Using Adobe Creative Suite and other resources, create and edit designs for various outlets, including print pieces, digital, billboards, videos, and other mediums
- Ensure consistent file storage, placement, and archive according to established workflows
- Collaborate with Bellevue ministries and departments as needed to achieve ministry goals
- Work with third-party vendors as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in design/art/communications or equivalent and/or 5 years of experience in a related field
Certificate/License Required:
None
Specific Experience Required:
- Experience in all aspects of graphic design, including concept design
- Experience in application of graphic design (print, social, website, physical installations, signage, etc.)
Specific Skills Required:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of the design and production process
- Ability to communicate high-level concepts in a concise manner
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to teach and mentor
- Ability to proof quickly
- Works well with others and able to collaborate effectively
Physical Abilities:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Days/Hours:
Typically Monday–Friday, 8:30 am‚Äì4:30 pm; however, expected to work late and weekends as needed, especially during peak seasons, big initiatives, and productions.

Working Conditions:
Mostly standard office conditions; however, will vary with each day, as shoots may often take place outside and conditions will flex as the season and weather dictate. Work will involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, or loud noises.
