Production Intern

Music
Part-time

Major Duties

  • Set up for weekly rehearsals of the Bellevue Choir and Orchestra and student choirs.
  • Move costume racks from the fourth floor and other storage areas to production areas.
  • Put costume and props away for storage after production.
  • Set up the Worship Center stage for events and regular worship services.
  • Set up for Kids Worship On Wednesdays (K-WOW).
  • Assist with setting up rooms for Bellevue’s School of Performing Arts as needed.
  • Help with other general Music Ministry needs.
  • Perform tasks in support of the following productions: Singing Christmas Tree, 4th & 5th Grade Musical, CampOutrageous, and the annual Orchestra concert.

Specific Tasks

  • Adjust the Worship Center stage setup according to production needs.
  • Move instrumental music in the Orchestra Room, on stage, and wherever else is needed.
  • Move banners and other fourth-floor items as needed. (Banners are too large for the elevators and must be walked up and down four flights of stairs.)
  • Pick up items off-campus as needed.
  • Set up for weekly events: K-WOW, Choir, Orchestra, student choirs, and 4th & 5th Grade Choir, as well as Pep Squad, Townies, and Cast rehearsals for Singing Christmas Tree.
  • Strike and clean up after productions and normal weekly events.
  • Set up the Choir Room, the Orchestra Room, the Choir loft, and the onstage Orchestra area as needed for Sunday services, special events, and productions.
  • Move instrumental equipment such as harps, percussion instruments, and music stands.
  • Move clothing racks from the fourth-floor costuming area to production or rehearsal areas. (Since there are no elevators to the fourth floor, all costuming must be off-loaded from the racks, walked down to the third floor, and placed on a new rack—they can then travel by elevator to the appropriate floor.)
  • Pick up and move Choir and Orchestra chairs.
