Project Manager
MediaMajor Duties
- Moderate Media Request Form (MRF) automation.
- Manage incoming and ongoing tasks and projects related to marketing, live events, and production.
- Innovate and develop robust project management best practices.
- Manage third-party vendors as assigned.
- Monitor phones and inbound communication.
Specific Tasks
Manage incoming MRFs and Ministry Requests to ensure details are complete and projects or tasks are created and handed off well for production.
- Ensure MRF has created the proper tasks within Asana
- Connect the dots between Media disciplines when MRFs are filled out incorrectly
- Assess the Media team’s available resources to complete requests with ministry excellence
- As knowledge of project details change, effectively update tasks and project overviews in Asana, keeping the source of truth accurate and without error.
Build out projects and collaborate with Media team leads to create task lists, due dates, and dependencies in Asana.
Establish and manage default file paths and project organization in Office 365.
Monitor the status of projects and tasks and effectively deliver reporting on high-risk items to supervisors and the Media leadership team.
Review and vet projects for biblical accuracy and relatable spiritual application in accordance with Scripture and the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
Effectively communicate project and task details, including status, within the Media team.
- Evaluate project and task status and communicate those details with Media team leads.
- Updating master project details and effectively disseminate information as needed.
Champion the effective use of Asana.
- Communicate best practices.
- Stay educated on new releases.
- Lead out in how our team uses Asana.
- Create master projects.
- Provide project and task reports.
- Train new Media team members.
- Focus on innovation and automation when possible.
Coordinate incoming requests to ensure schedule alignment and initiate follow-up collaboration to achieve ministry goals.
Manage communication and relationships with vendors on behalf of other ministries and their initiatives.
Conduct project evaluations and annual ministry partnership evaluations.
Monitor phones and make calls.
Monitor Media emails.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Ministerial Responsibilities
The ministerial responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to being available to pray with employees and volunteers, challenging the Media team with Bible principles during weekly meetings, and championing Bellevue’s mission and vision so they are integrated in the culture of the church (as set forth in the employee handbook). In furtherance of the church mission of reaching the world with the Gospel and training others in ministry, the Project Manager must be involved in the spiritual discipleship and care of the employees and volunteers under his or her supervision.
- Encourage staff members and volunteers in ministry through prayer and spiritual encouragement, being available to them in times of need, and providing consistent check-ins as part of the volunteer equipping team.
- Lead by example in ministry to others, exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit and exemplifying the Media team’s core values in interactions with others.
- Instruct staff members and volunteers in biblical principles to frame the why of service and ministry.
- Lead devotionals with the Media team and volunteers as needed.

There are no direct reports, but leadership among Ministerial Assistants and volunteers is expected, as well as influencing Media team leads to keep projects on track.
Co-Workers
The employee will work with all Media team members.
Days and Hours
Typically Monday–Friday; however, the employee will often be expected to work late and weekends as needed, especially during peak seasons, big initiatives, and productions.

Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or an equivalent degree or two–three years of experience in a related field

Specific Experience Required
- An understanding of the complexities and interactions within a multidiscipline Media team, including video preproduction, production, and postproduction techniques and practices, design and concept execution, disciplines related to print and in-house production.
- Experience on shoot crews in various roles on set.
- Time serving behind the scenes in a large church or ministry setting.

Working Conditions
Mostly standard office conditions; however, the working conditions will vary with each day, as shoots often take place outside. In those cases, conditions will flex as the season and weather dictate. Work will involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, or loud noises.
