Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory from Union University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Austin Peay State University.
Before working at Bellevue Andrew, taught music at two different high schools where he taught choir, music appreciation, AP music theory, and contemporary band classes. Andrew and his family have been members of Bellevue since 2012. Over the years, Andrew has been involved with SPA from all sides – as a student (taking guitar lessons), as an employee (teaching voice lessons), and as a parent (with three kids in the violin studio). In 2018, Andrew left his career in education to become the associate minister of music and the SPA director at Bellevue Baptist Church. In October of that year, he was ordained as a minister of the gospel. It is Andrew’s passion to raise up musicians that play and sing for God’s glory, to equip them for service in the church, and to prepare them to be champions for Christ out in the world. He and his wife, Calli, have four children: Caleb, Ruby, Abi Claire, and Evelyn.
