FAQ
- Please limit your child’s personal belongings. For younger children, please use a new gallon size Ziplock bag as a diaper bag. We will provide an additional label at check in for your child’s bag.
- Children using a bottle or sippy cup may have a second Ziploc bag with written instructions for the classroom leader.
Many children ask questions related to their personal salvation experience long before they are ready to become a Christian. The questioning process may begin years before the child is ready to proceed with a decision to follow Jesus as his/her personal Lord and Savior. When your child asks questions, please do your best to answer him/her as honestly as possible. Remember, you are developing his/her understanding and aiding in the spiritual maturing process. Here are a few sample questions:
- How can I get baptized?
- What does it mean to be a Christian?
- When can I get baptized?
- What is sin?
- Why did Jesus have to die on the cross?
As you answer these and other related questions, it is a good idea to point out verses in the Bible and allow your child to read them. This will help the child by remembering what the Bible says.
Scheduling a baptism
If your child has made a salvation decision and would like to be baptized, our Children’s Ministry team would like to connect with you. We schedule baptisms during most Worship services. Please call 901-347-5763 for more details.
