Jonathan has a rich musical background as a composer, producer, and performer. His proficiency in piano, guitar, and drums has enabled him to perform in highly skilled chamber group settings as well as in large-scale musical productions. Because of this diversity of experience, he has been able to work with musical styles ranging from pop tunes to cinematic scores. His award winning compositions have been featured in live performances, film, video games, and more. In addition, he writes worship songs and arrangements that are actively sung in a number of local churches.
Jonathan has taught music since 2010 and has been with the Bellevue School of Performing Arts since Fall of 2016. His passion has been to help his students reach their goals, whether they be developing instrumental skill, pursuing music academically, composing for various media, or getting published in platforms such as iTunes and Spotify.
Jonathan has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from the University of Memphis, with an emphasis on piano performance, and a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He currently resides with his wife Becca in Millington, TN, where he serves as the Minister of Worship at Lucy Baptist Church.
Anthony Baird – Piano
Anthony Baird holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from the University of Memphis, where he specialized in piano and saxophone. In addition, he participated in marching band for seven years between high school and college, where he played the sousaphone. He has traveled with various musical groups from chamber ensembles to full orchestras, performing throughout Europe, China, and the United States. Along with performing, Anthony is passionate about teaching. He enjoys working with and learning from his students, and challenging them to grow beyond what they might have expected they could, both musically and in life. He is a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church Orchestra, where he plays saxophone and occasionally piano. He also plays piano and travels with the student choirs for their Student Music Mission Project every summer. He, and his wife Jenny, are both on staff at Bellevue. Anthony is working towards a Masters of Arts in Christian Apologetics. He is looking forward to how God is going to combine his theological studies with his music ministry.
