Prioritize Community

As summer travel plans start to wind down, it’s a great time to set new goals and reconnect with your community before fall begins. As believers, we recognize the value of community reflected throughout the Bible. Jesus exemplifies this in His entire ministry. In the good and the bad moments, He remained present with and for His disciples. Life is often a struggle, and to go it alone deprives us of the Lord’s gift and instruction of Christian community that we see in Acts, Paul’s letters to the churches, and in Hebrews.

Hebrews 10:24–25ESV urges us, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Bellevue offers various types of Groups. They are an excellent resource for intentional fellowship with other believers; they are designed to be an outlet for relationship and faith building, as well as a source of consistent encouragement in everyday life.

As you begin setting goals for the fall, no matter your stage of life, think of a friend or acquaintance whom you believe could benefit from joining a Group. Why not invite them just in time for fall?
