Memphis Union Mission ministers to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of men, women, and families who are homeless, addicted, and in crisis. Volunteers are needed at their downtown location to serve the homeless men of our community. Volunteers will assist in sorting donations, serving in the clothes closet, preparing meals, serving meals, hosting chapel services, and sharing Jesus! There are multiple times/shifts with this project.

Cost is $10* per person and includes a T-shirt, childcare, training, and optional lunch for this project.

*Scholarships are available. Contact the Missions Office for details.

Prayer Guide:

  • Pray that volunteers would be able to build relationships with the men at Memphis Union Mission and that they would be able to Share Jesus with them.
  • Pray that the Chapel Services would be full of God’s presences and that many men would receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Pray that those who are saved would be encouraged to grow in their faith.
  • Pray for Pastors Randy Daniels & Jeff Patrick.  Pray that this week would encourage them and give them rest.
  • Memphis Union Mission is going through a multi-phase building project.  Please pray that God will provide the funds and use the facilities to have a greater reach for the kingdom of God.
