School of Performing Arts


Welcome to Bellevue’s School of Performing Arts–a place where adults and children can learn and develop musical skills in a nurturing environment. Our desire here at Bellevue is to provide opportunities to develop and use the talents that God has given us to tell His wonderful story and give Him glory!

Private Guitar, Electric Bass, Banjo and Mandolin lessons, plus group, are offered here at the SPA. There are 15 private lessons and 13 group lessons.  The 2018 Spring Semester will start on January 8 and end May 4. See rates below for your specific fees.  All lessons are taught here at Bellevue Baptist Church.

All new students must pay a $25 registration fee ($50 family maximum) as well as their tuition and activities fee.


30 Minute Lessons     $419

Activities fee = $25/semester (Includes a SPA t-shirt, theory book, solo-ensemble, and an end of the year recital.)

*INSTALLMENT PLAN: Students have the option of a 4 part installment plan. Tuition will be due on January 8, February 5, March 5, and April 2. A service charge of $3.50 will be added for each installment payment.

**FAMILY PLAN: Any family with more than one student registering or more than one kind of lesson will receive a 10% discount starting on their second occurrence (excludes registration fee). You must register in the SPA Office to receive this special discount.


Aaron Brock

Working as a Mid-South area artist and instructor, Aaron Brock is implementing his vision to bring a fresh yet classical approach to guitar performance and education. He holds a master’s degree in Guitar Performance from the University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. Aaron brings a wide variety of skills and talents to his field. His current teaching engagements include Union University, Bellevue School of Performing Arts, and Evangelical Christian School. He performs in many varieties of venues including but not limited to concerts, weddings, grand openings, and private dinner parties. Aside from his passion for performance and teaching, Aaron is also an arranger and emerging composer.
