Volunteers help prepare and reset spaces for Adult Ministry events by setting up tables, chairs, signage, and materials, as well as assisting with cleanup afterward.

This role helps create a welcoming and well-prepared environment for events. By serving behind the scenes, you support the Adult Ministry team and help everything come together smoothly.

Someone who is dependable, flexible, and enjoys hands-on service. This is a great fit for those who like teamwork, practical tasks, and serving in a way that supports the bigger mission. This role can include a lot of walking and/or standing.

Commitment varies depending on event timing (evenings, weekends, or occasional weekdays).

This is a great opportunity to serve behind the scenes while still playing a key role in helping others connect and grow. It’s also a flexible option for those with varying schedules.

If you love God’s Word, care deeply about people, and are willing to take initiative, then serving as an Adults Life Group or Home Group leader may be the perfect role for you! You don’t have to be the best teacher to be a good Life Group leader—as long as you are faithful, relational, and committed to helping others grow spiritually, you’ll succeed in this role.

Life Group and Home Group leaders organize and lead a weekly gathering that centers on engaging discussion-driven Bible teaching and real-life application. They also build relationships, care for members, and raise up leaders—helping their group invest in one another, reach out to people beyond the group, and equip each other to better embody Jesus and make disciples.

This role exists to help people be transformed by God’s Word while experiencing authentic community and living on mission. Life Group leaders help people move from simply attending church to growing in Christlikeness, belonging to the Body of Christ, and serving others. Few volunteer roles offer a greater chance to see real life-change or disciple others firsthand!

Life Group leaders are needed for adults of every age and stage of life—including young couples, middle-aged couples, and senior adults. Some groups mix generations while others are made up of people who are all in the same season.

In this role, you’ll assist Bellevue’s audio engineer with multitrack recording and live mixing during services and events. Good audio might go unnoticed—and that's exactly the point!When everything sounds clear and consistent, people can focus, engage, and respond to what God is doing without distraction. As Romans 10:17 reminds us, faith comes through hearing, and our audio assistant helps make sure people can do just that!

The specific responsibilities of this role may include setting up and organizing audio equipment, managing microphones (placement, battery checks, and distribution), running cables, and helping troubleshoot minor audio issues to ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’d be a great fit for this role if you are:

As a baptism volunteer, you’ll play an integral role in one of the most meaningful moments in someone’s faith journey. Many baptism candidates are nervous or excited (often both!), and you’ll help make sure their needs are met and the logistics run smoothly—meeting candidates and their families in the West Lobby, walking them to the baptistry, answering questions, and helping everyone feel at ease.

In this role, you’ll get a front-row seat to what God is doing in our church—hearing what led each person to this moment and watching the joy on their face as they come up out of the water. It’s inspiring, meaningful work to be part of.

This role is a great fit for those who enjoy serving behind the scenes. But also, since many candidates bring friends and family who are visiting Bellevue for the first time, it’s important that you feel comfortable chatting with people you don’t know and helping them feel at home.

You can serve in this role as an individual, but it’s also a great opportunity for husbands and wives to serve together: Women can assist the females being baptized, and men can assist the males being baptized and support the pastors who do the baptizing.

Support 9:30 am Worship Service choir for Sundays, special productions, and events.

The Bellevue Orchestra is made up of musicians who are passionate about using their talents to glorify and honor God—and they have a lot of fun doing it! Members rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. in the Orchestra Room, regularly help lead worship on Sunday mornings, and play for Singing Christmas Tree and other special events throughout the year.

To join, you should have prior experience with a musical instrument and be in 7th grade or older. You must also be:
• A professing Christian.
• A skilled musician.
• An active Bellevue member.
• A regular attender of rehearsals and performances.

If you enjoy staying busy and providing great customer service, this role is for you! The Bellevue Bookstore sells Bibles, devotionals, children’s books, gifts, and more, and volunteers who serve in this area get to help meet customers’ needs and put resources in their hands to help them grow in Christlikeness.

New Bookstore volunteers start by straightening and organizing shelves. Once they learn where each product belongs, they learn how to shelve new merchandise (which often involves lifting boxes that are 10–25 pounds). Once you’ve learned those skills, you’ll be trained in searching a national database to help customers find the products they’re looking for. Then, you can learn how to ring out customers and do inventory audits.

You’d be a great fit for this role if you:
• Have great interpersonal skills.
• Are attentive to detail.
• Enjoy helping people one on one.
• Want to encourage others to grow in their walk with Christ.

Fun facts: Because the Bookstore allows for interaction with a variety of people looking for a variety of items, the work is rarely boring. Plus, the Bookstore team is great to work with; they love the Lord and laugh a lot.

Help make Bellevue a warm and welcoming place by volunteering at the Café in the East or West Lobby! You’ll serve coffee and light refreshments to guests and members, restock goods and supplies, keep the area clean, and provide friendly service that helps people feel at home.

Do you have a passion for capturing moments through a lens? In this role, you can do just that—creating beautiful and unique content as you shoot the Worship Team, speakers, and congregation during worship services and special events.

As a camera operator, you’ll be right in the middle of everything happening, which puts you in the perfect place to bring others into the moment more fully—every shot you capture will help tell the story of what God is doing. You’ll work under the direction of the service director and adjust framing, focus, and movement to create clear and engaging visuals that reach those sitting far from the stage and those watching from home.

You’re a great fit for this role if you are:

Do you have a heart to serve and a Tennessee Armed Guard certification or law enforcement commission? As a campus Security volunteer, you can help ensure the safety of everyone who comes to Bellevue and play a key role in creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for Sunday morning worship and other events.

Campus Security volunteers help protect property and people both inside our church building (serving as a walking patrol or at a stationary post) and outside the building (serving on mobile patrol). Those driving Bellevue Security vehicles must have a valid driver’s license.

Car Care Ministry serves Bellevue’s single mothers, widows, and wives of active duty military servicemen. No car maintenance experience is needed to serve with this ministry.

Driving, and/or checking vehicle tire pressure, fluid levels, wiper blades, headlamp/taillight functions and/or changing oil.

Ensure vulnerable Bellevue ladies’ cars are looked after.

Gifts/passions: A heart to serve and basic knowledge of automobile operation

We have a great time fellowshipping and serving these ladies. An added bonus is the appreciation expressed to the volunteers by the ladies.

If you’re outgoing and knowledgeable about the layout and offerings of our church, you may enjoy being a Connect Central volunteer! Connect Central is the wraparound counter in the South Lobby behind the grand staircase. Volunteers who serve in this area help give people information about Life Groups and service opportunities, they answer general questions about the church, and they walk people where they need to go. If someone is looking to get more involved in the church, Connect Central volunteers also write down that person’s contact information so a minister can follow up with them.

Provide costuming assistance for Bellevue's productions.

If you love food service and have experience in the kitchen, Culinary Ministry is the place for you to serve!

As a Culinary volunteer, you’ll support staff members as they prepare and serve food for Fellowship Supper, other weekly gatherings, and special events. You’ll help with setup, meal service, and cleanup and create a warm atmosphere that encourages fellowship around the table—not just for church members but also for the neighbors and guests Bellevue regularly welcomes.

If you have a natural taste for decorating and find joy in making a place feel like home, this is the spot for you!

Each year, our team of decorators sets up Christmas trees and other holiday decorations throughout the church. Between Singing Christmas Tree, Journey to Bethlehem, and our Christmas Eve Service, more guests walk through Bellevue’s doors during the holidays than during any other time of year—and our decorations brighten the atmosphere for all who visit so they feel welcome and open to hearing more about Jesus.

Every believer has been called to make disciples—the only question is where. Leading a Discipleship Group at Bellevue is one way to obey that command!

Discipleship Groups are small—typically two to four people—and meet regularly to study God’s Word, pray, and hold each other accountable. Whether you’re walking alongside new believers or seasoned disciples, you’ll guide your group through Scripture and other study materials that challenge and transform.

If you have a desire to walk closely with others and invest deeply in their growth, this is the role for you. The Gospel came to you on its way to someone else, and this is your chance to pass it on!

You don’t need a seminary degree or a perfect track record to lead a Discipleship Group. You just need a growing walk with Christ and a willingness to invest in others.

That said, to lead and care for others well, we do ask that you meet the following expectations. These aren’t meant to be barriers to making disciples—rather, they’re safeguards to make sure those who lead others are actively walking with Jesus themselves:
• Be a member in good standing with Bellevue and demonstrate faithful support of the church through worship, service, and stewardship.
• Be meaningfully involved in a Life Group or another recognized community of biblical fellowship and accountability.
• Give clear evidence of following Jesus through a growing relationship with Him, a godly reputation, and a lifestyle consistent with biblical discipleship.
• Be recommended by the leader of the Discipleship Group in which you participated or, if you’ve not previously been part of a Discipleship Group, be approved by Bill Street (Discipleship, Prayer, and Evangelism Pastor).

Our church family is always traveling somewhere—whether a group of senior adults is going to a fellowship event, students are traveling to serve with a local missions partner, or a missions team is serving in another part of the country, we stay on the move. That’s why volunteer bus drivers are crucial to the ministry of Bellevue!

As a local or over-the-road driver, you’ll serve by helping people get to events sponsored by the church. You must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) to drive Bellevue’s shuttles, and you must also be available to make trips both in town and out of town. If you’d like to serve as a driver for Bellevue’s large bus, you must have an air brakes endorsement on your CDL.

Learning a new language as an adult is one of the most vulnerable, courageous things a person can do. English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers at Bellevue get to walk alongside non–English speakers in that journey—helping them find their footing in a new language and a new culture using the Bible and provided ESL materials.

If you have a heart for people and a desire to see them thrive relationally, vocationally, and spiritually, this role may be the perfect fit for you! The ideal ESL teacher is patient and encouraging, someone who can make a learner feel capable and welcomed rather than overwhelmed. Cross-cultural curiosity helps too: A genuine interest in your students’ backgrounds and experiences will go a long way in building the trust that makes real learning happen.

Outdoor greeters are often the first face people see as they arrive on Bellevue’s campus. They stand at the exterior doors of our building and hold them open for members and guests as they enter. This role exists because we want everyone to know they’re welcome at our church! So if you enjoy practicing hospitality, become a greeter and welcome each individual who attends Bellevue with a warm smile and a friendly hello.

Good for you to know: Volunteers in this role primarily serve under the awnings outside the church building, so you should plan to dress comfortably according to the weather.

Use your medical skills to serve at Bellevue! If you have a servant’s heart and a valid and current medical license—whether you’re a nurse, a medical doctor, a paramedic, or an emergency medical technician—this role is for you.

As a first aid volunteer, you’ll stay alert and available during Sunday morning Life Groups and worship services and tend to people’s medical needs as they arise. You may also serve during other large events such as CampOutrageous and Singing Christmas Tree.

If you’re detail oriented and like the idea of leading from behind the scenes, this role is for you! Graphics operators display lyrics for all songs during worship and support the sermon by transitioning through slides of verses and main points. They closely follow the flow of the service, ensure slides are accurate and timed well, and work in sync with worship leaders, speakers, and the Media production team.

This role may seem straightforward, but it’s crucial because it allows the congregation to follow along with the service, engage more deeply with the worship and message, and stay focused on what God is doing rather than feeling lost or distracted.

You may be a great fit for this role if you are:
• Strong in timing and rhythm.
• Highly attentive and able to anticipate what’s next.
• Focused and able to follow along closely with the flow of a live service.
• Comfortable working behind the scenes with precision.
• Able to stay calm and recover quickly if timing gets off.

Do you have a strong back and a servant's heart? Hospitality Ministry is looking for men who are willing to roll up their sleeves and move furniture, decorations, and other items around the church building in preparation for special events throughout the year. This role is needed most notably during Christmastime, but you’ll also help with setup and teardown at other times throughout the year, such as the end of the school year when Bellevue hosts high school graduations. It’s behind-the-scenes work, but it’s the kind of faithful, practical service that makes everything else possible.

As a Hospitality team volunteer, you’ll serve during various events throughout the year—from Singing Christmas Tree and CampOutrageous to graduations, conferences, and banquets. Your role includes greeting guests, guiding them through the church, decorating the church for the holidays, and ensuring that every gathering feels inviting and comfortable for all who visit our church.

This involves being around the Next Gen areas to greet guests, work the cafe, and step into needs the middle school ministry has on a Sunday morning. Sometimes this includes substitute teaching in a class.

This matters because our team cannot catch everyone! It takes an army to run things on Sundays and with hour leaders being involved, it makes the process much smoother for not only our team, but the ministry as a whole. Welcoming guests is a big deal because our staff doesn’t always catch them or have the availability to really engage them for longer periods of time. This also helps our staff be able to get to service every week!

Someone would be a great fit for this role if they are passionate about people getting plugged in with our church! They need to be people that will just go and introduce themselves to a student they haven’t met or see needs and fill them. Flexible is a good attribute for someone wanting to do this role.

Sunday mornings at one of the hours: 8am, 9:15am, or 11am.

People come as they are available. We would prefer weekly since it’s hard to get a rhythm otherwise).

Knowing our people is a big one! An hour leader should be just as much informed as a staff person when it comes to what classes are available, who the leaders are, etc.

The steps to take are: reach out to Morgan, complete CSA and Ministry Safe, onboarding (this is either formal or informal and amount of information depends on when they come on with us).

Provide a welcoming first stop for guests and members at our Information Center in the West Lobby! In this role, you’ll answer questions, help guests navigate the building, sell tickets for Fellowship Supper and other events, and connect people to ministries and resources across Bellevue. If you’re knowledgeable about Bellevue and love helping people one on one, this is the place for you!

K-WOW is a vibrant, high-energy ministry where kids come alive in worship—and so do the volunteers! If you enjoy working with children, this is the spot for you. Leading kids to love and worship God will enrich your life as you serve!

There are several roles available:
• Bible Teachers—Teach detailed lessons about biblical truth, and lead games and activities that go along with each lesson. You must be familiar with the lesson and communicate on a child’s level with patience and flexibility to adapt to each child’s needs.
• Music Teacher—Lead singing rehearsals or teach music basics in small-group settings. You must be able to sing on pitch and have a basic understanding of music theory.
• Classroom Helper—Assist Bible teachers with their lessons and music teachers during rehearsals, and help individual children as needed. Patience and flexibility are key to helping the kids stay focused on each activity.
• Hallway Helper—Cheerfully greet families and guide children to their classes, offer support to teachers, watch over kids as they move through the hallways, and keep an eye out for security purposes. To serve in this role, you must be friendly and proactive.
• Greeter—Welcome children to their classrooms from 6 to 6:20 p.m. during the busy drop-off time. All that’s needed is a friendly, smiling face!
• Prep Team Member—Prepare classroom supplies and activities before Wednesday night (flexible days and times) or help set up K-WOW classrooms on Wednesdays.
• Substitute—Serve in any of the roles above on an as-needed basis. The main requirement for this role is flexibility, as you’ll likely serve in a variety of ways!

Music Ministry provides everything you need for each week’s lesson, places it in your classroom, and provides you with easy-to-follow written and video guides. So if you’re interested in serving as a K-WOW volunteer but are nervous to jump in, don’t worry—you’ll find support every step of the way! The K-WOW team is like a family, encouraging and supporting one another as they pour into the next generation together.

As a KidVue Junior volunteer, you’ll get to experience children’s worship programming in a unique and engaging way. Your primary role is to help preschoolers and kindergarteners as they rotate through different activity stations. These rotations include Music, Bible lesson, Snack and Bible review, God’s Creation, Missions, and more!

Serving in KidVue Junior is an opportunity to help plant the seed of the Gospel in the hearts of preschoolers and kindergarteners. You’ll guide them in learning how to worship God in ways that are meaningful and age-appropriate. Through music, activities, and Bible teaching, you’ll play a part in helping build a strong foundation for their faith in Jesus.

KidVue Junior is a great fit for individuals who enjoy interacting with preschoolers and kindergarteners and have a heart for helping them grow in their faith. If you love music, enjoy crafts, and are excited about helping kids engage with the Bible, this is a wonderful place to serve!

KidVue Junior meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. We primarily ask volunteers to serve weekly or a few times each month, depending on their availability.

KidVue Junior launched in August 2023 with the goal of providing a traditional worship experience designed specifically for preschoolers and kindergarteners. Since then, we’ve seen the Lord grow this ministry in incredible ways, and we’re excited about what’s ahead! We would love for you to be part of what God is doing in the lives of these children at Bellevue.

Supervising Kids at their tables. You oversee a group of 8 kids who are sitting at a round table with you. Helping lead out in discussion questions and help accomplish table activities. Able to help lead kids and good at holding conversations about the gospel.

This role matters because it involves living life with the kids. Serving with the kids helps communicate Biblical truth and engages kids with the Gospel. When we reach kids, we can reach a family.

If you have a heart to serve, this is for you! If you care to see the light turn on for kids as they learn the Word of God, then being a table leader is a great fit for you.

Sunday Mornings at 9:30 or 11 a.m. (Choose an hour to serve) An ongoing commitment is required.

We structure out KidVue Worship Service in a way that helps get kids ready for the main worship service. This service incorporates worship, lesson, snack, crafts, and games.

Are you creative and passionate about teaching biblical truth to kids? As a Life Group teacher or helper for 1st–3rd graders, you’ll help create an inviting and exciting environment for children to learn about Jesus. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching a lesson each Sunday, taking attendance, preparing and leading crafts and activities, and communicating with parents and guardians.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to teach God’s Word confidently, be friendly toward kids and their families, and be creative in preparing crafts and activities. Life Group teachers and helpers are provided a monthly curriculum guide that includes teaching options, craft ideas, and the lesson plan. Additionally, Children’s Ministry hosts two volunteer training sessions per year (with a provided meal) as well as volunteer appreciation days.

Do you love seeing little faces light up when they learn something new? As a Life Group teacher or helper for our pre-K–kindergarten classes, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming space where young learners can take their first steps in knowing Jesus.

There are several ways to serve in this role. The Life Group teacher leads the class and teaches the biblical story each Sunday morning, becoming a familiar, trusted face for kids and parents alike. Helpers support in other ways—greeting and checking in children, preparing snacks, or setting up craft materials—and can rotate through these roles depending on what fits their gifts and availability.

To be successful in this role, you should be patient, nurturing, and comfortable with young children and have a heart for sharing biblical truth in simple, age-appropriate ways. Beyond that, you’ll be provided with the materials, curriculum, and guidance needed to make teaching and serving easy.

Some struggles are too heavy to carry alone—grief, addiction, cancer, betrayal, and others. Bellevue’s Life Solutions Groups give people walking through those struggles a place to be honest about them, surrounded by others who understand.

As a leader of a Life Solutions Group, you’ll teach, guide discussion, and handle the practical side of running a group (e.g., take attendance and gather contact information). The heart of this role is for you to minister to people in the middle of the hardest seasons of their lives.

Most Life Solutions Group leaders have been through the same struggle they now lead others through. That history matters—it’s what lets you speak to Scripture’s promises not as ideas you’ve studied but as truths you’ve lived. It gives you authenticity, empathy, and credibility that can’t be earned in a classroom.

Ultimately, your job is to help people heal. For someone who doesn’t yet know Jesus, that means pointing them to a relationship with Him—nothing matters more. For someone who’s already walking with God, it means helping them learn to suffer well, being led by the Holy Spirit and grounded in God’s Word.

You would make a great Life Solutions Groups leader if you:
• Intentionally care for people and seek to meet them where they are.
• Are highly sensitive to people’s emotional needs as they navigate grief, trauma, or addiction.
• Are a thoughtful listener and a good communicator.
• Have personally walked through the struggle you’d be leading others through.
• Know Scripture well and understand your own need for grace.
• Understand what the Bible says about suffering and the value of going through difficulties for sanctification.

Note: If you sense God inviting you to lead others through a struggle you haven’t personally experienced, let Biblical Counseling Ministry know. They can train you to minister well even without firsthand history.

Lighting matters in a worship service or event because it directs attention, enhances worship, and supports the overall atmosphere so that nothing distracts from what God is doing! Our lighting volunteers help make that possible, creating an environment where people can focus, engage, and respond. They operate the lighting board during worship services and special events, run follow spots when needed, and help design and set up lighting for different events—adjusting intensity, color, and cues to fit the moment.

A great fit for this role is someone who is:
• Creative, with an eye for design and atmosphere.
• Technically minded and interested in lighting systems.
• Attentive to detail and able to follow cues.
• Focused and adaptable in live environments.
• Excited about blending creativity with structure.

This role is perfect for someone who loves being part of something big. Bellevue’s special events are some of the most impactful moments in the life of the church, reaching not only regular attenders but also families and guests from the community. As a production volunteer, you’ll experience the energy, excitement, and teamwork that come with large-scale presentations!

The specific responsibilities of this role include operating production equipment (audio, lighting, camera, or other media elements as needed), assisting with setup, and supporting the overall flow of the event alongside the Bellevue Media production team. The goal is simple: an engaging and distraction-free experience where people can fully encounter the Gospel.

• Flexible and willing to jump into different roles as needed.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Detail oriented.
• A strong team player with a servant’s heart.

Do you love kids, have a heart for missions, and welcome a little chaos and giggles? If so, Missions and More (M&M) might be the perfect place for you to serve! You don’t need any special experience—just patience, a nurturing spirit, and a genuine love for spending time with children.

M&M is Children’s Ministry’s Wednesday night programming for kids in pre-K through 3rd grade. Each week, kids learn about a new country and how God is using missionaries to reach the nations, going beyond the world they know to discover more about God’s creation.

As an M&M volunteer, you’ll rotate alongside the kids through several stations, facilitating activities and teaching them about missions along the way. It’s a hands-on, high-energy role—you’ll be talking, laughing, and engaging with your group the whole time.

M&M isn’t just about fun activities, though. When kids understand God’s heart for the nations, they begin to grow a heart for the world themselves—so M&M volunteers play a key role in shaping how the next generation sees God’s mission.

If you’re passionate about teaching and investing in students, this role is for you! As a Next Gen Life Group leader, you’ll become a familiar weekly presence in the lives of 4th–5th graders, middle schoolers, high schoolers, or college students—shepherding them through Bible teaching, prayer, encouragement, and real relationship.

The responsibilities of a Life Group leader include taking attendance, teaching a Bible lesson, and walking alongside their group of students from week to week. You’ll get to know the students in your group and pay attention to what’s going on in their lives—their friendships, struggles, and milestones.

The right person for this role is someone who confidently initiates conversation and connection, seeking to encourage students and point them to the truth whenever they can. By showing up for them consistently, you become part of their support system during the most formative seasons of their lives.

This involves being present on Wednesday nights with us at the Mix. It’s building relationships with students to an extent and being able to step in if students are being distracting, needing something, want counseling, etc.

This allows the Mix to be an environment that is welcoming to all and structured in the way it runs. It provides more adult supervision for the 150+ students that are coming to the Mix that our staff couldn’t do alone.

Someone who is able to counsel a student through salvation, baptism, christian living, etc. Someone who is kind and authoritative, not afraid to tell a student they need to focus.

Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45pm, but sometimes we like for volunteers to come early if they can.

Seasonal - we don’t have the Mix in the summer. Basically school year kind of calendar.

This is not a policing job! We want to have standards at the Mix and have those communicated by adults around the room when applicable, but it’s having fun with our students too and being a support to our staff! Bellevue Woods is a residential community for senior adults located just down the street from Bellevue’s campus, and it’s owned and operated by our church. One of the services we provide for this community is shuttle transportation between Bellevue Woods and our campus on Sunday mornings, on Wednesday evenings, and for other special events. We also provide shuttle service to the store each week so residents can easily get the groceries they need.

Serving as an off-campus driver is a simple way to love and care for these members of our church family, and providing transportation is a huge blessing to them. If you choose to volunteer in this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with our Bellevue Woods residents, who are sure to add just as much meaning and joy to your life as you’ll give to them by driving them where they need to go.

To serve in this role, you must have a commercial driver’s license.

During live stream Worship Services, chat with online members and guests. With a few clicks of your keyboard, you can deliver Intentional Hospitality to individuals and families as near as Cordova and Memphis and as far as India and Kenya. This team serves on-campus and offsite.

Online Responding is all about helping online viewers of our Sunday services feel welcomed and informed. The job is to greet, answer any questions, and pray with those who need it. We want to guide people through the service and help them feel like they are part of it all.

Through YouTube, Facebook, and our website, we see well over 2000 people joining us online each week. Many of them are unable to attend in person for health reasons and some even join us from around the world. While they may or may not be a member at Bellevue, we still want to help them stay connected and feel like they are part of a community of believers.

Basic familiarity with computers, especially social media, is very helpful. But even that can be learned by most people. This can be a great opportunity for people to serve if they are introverts because they can be intentional and caring, while also enjoying the blessings of distance and anonymity. It’s also great for people who often can’t be here in person because you can sign in from anywhere.

Our online audience is quite diverse, but most of the time you are talking to older adults (50+).

This is a Sunday role, as it is an extension of our 9:30 and 11am services. We need the most help at 9:30, but we can always use someone at 11 too.

Ideally, people would be serving at least one Sunday per month in both services, but we can use people for a single service as well.

This is the only Serve opportunity where you can possibly speak back and forth with people from every continent, save Antarctica.

Parking lot escorts drive a six-seat golf cart on Sunday mornings and pick people up from distant parking lots that aren’t served by Bellevue’s shuttles. This role exists to serve people with disabilities and those who have trouble getting around, it keeps small children from having to walk through the busy parking lots, and it’s a way we provide intentional hospitality for all our guests. If you have a pleasant demeanor, enjoy meeting and interacting with strangers, and are a safe driver, this may be the role for you!

Fun fact: Our three Guest Services golf carts are named Bluey, Bingo, and Bandit.

Studies show that guests to a church will form an opinion about it within the first seven seconds of entering the parking lot, and we want our guests to feel welcomed the moment they arrive! Our parking lot greeters stand on the curbs each Sunday morning, holding signs with positive messages to encourage all who pass by.

Prompter operators play a key role in supporting the Choir and worship leaders during Sunday morning services! By providing the right words at the right time, they enable vocalists to stay focused, lead confidently, and engage more fully in leading worship without distraction or uncertainty. The prompter operator follows along closely with the service and displays lyrics, notes, and cues in real time to ensure those on stage feel supported and confident. If you enjoy staying focused and volunteering behind the scenes, this one’s for you!

As a set construction volunteer, you’ll use 3D renderings to help construct scenery, props, and backdrops used for CampOutrageous, the Singing Christmas Tree, Bellevue Women, and other ministries and special events. Your responsibilities include building, assembling, and installing set pieces and assisting with teardown.

Set construction plays a key role in creating immersive environments that help bring the Gospel message and the truths of Scripture to life. It’s collaborative, hands-on work—and if you’re someone who enjoys being part of a team and jumping in wherever needed, you'll fit right in. By volunteering in this role, you have the opportunity to step back and say, “I helped build that,” knowing it played a part in sharing the Good News.

If you enjoy painting and have a keen eye for color, this role is for you! The work ranges from mixing colors and executing detailed designs to rolling base coats—so whatever your experience level, there’s a way for you to contribute.

Set painters work on backdrops, props, and scenery used for CampOutrageous, the Singing Christmas Tree, Bellevue Women, and other ministries and special events. Those who serve in this role use 3D renderings as a reference and assist with touch-ups, maintenance, and setup of painted pieces.

By using their creative and artistic gifts, set painters help create the visual atmosphere that draws people into the experience during special events. Through color, texture, and design, this role helps transform a stage into a space that supports storytelling and helps share the message of the Gospel.

As a shut-in volunteer, you’ll primarily serve senior adults, but you’ll also minister to church members with disabilities or medical conditions that prevent them from attending Bellevue in person. This role is vital to loving our friends who want to stay connected to the Body of Christ but are physically unable to make the trip. As Christians, we’re called to go out and meet others where they are, bearing their burdens—not just to love those who come to us.

Here’s what makes this role so special: All you have to do is show up for someone and be their friend. That looks like sitting down for a conversation and simply keeping someone company for an hour in their home or assisted living facility. It may not seem like much, but these visits give our shut-in friends the ministry of presence and help them feel seen, known, and loved—which reflects the heart of Jesus.

Bellevue’s Special Needs Ministry provides care and programming for children and adults diagnosed with disabilities or special needs. If you’re patient, tenderhearted, and love encouraging others, this is where you belong!

As a volunteer with this ministry, you’ll build a friendship with one student, working alongside them through weekly crafts, sensory activities, and music, encouraging their engagement with the Bible study, and cheering on kind moments with their classmates.

You’ll also connect with students’ families, becoming a familiar and trusted face each week. When families drop off their loved ones knowing they’re safe, known, and cared for, they’re free to attend worship with peace of mind.

• Each Sunday, Special Needs Ministry serves over 100 children and adults who are diagnosed with disabilities and special needs.

Sunday Morning Volunteers help create a welcoming environment for Adult Life Groups. This may include greeting guests, preparing coffee, coffee cleanup, assisting with attendance or records, and helping people find their group.

Bellevue provides valet parking for senior adults and parents of young children who are attending church alone. We want to make sure everyone is able to safely and easily enter the church building on Sunday mornings, and as a valet parking volunteer, you have the opportunity to ease the burden of those who need extra assistance getting from one place to another. If you have a heart for serving the vulnerable and are a safe driver, this is the spot for you!

Our church can be intimidating to someone on their first visit. By greeting them outside the front doors, we get to make a connection with them and assure them that we are happy to help in any way they need, and Welcome Center volunteers are crucial to providing this service!

In this role, you’ll greet guests at our Welcome Centers and first-time–guest tents. You’ll gather people’s basic information, give them a small welcome gift, and then walk them into the church and show them where to go. Extroverts would do well in this role, as well as people who can carry a conversation with guests while taking them where they need to go. Welcome Center volunteers must have a strong knowledge of the church’s layout.

Good for you to know: This role is primarily outdoors but under cover. We use heaters and fans as needed to make the experience more enjoyable for volunteers and guests.

If you’re patient and tenderhearted and enjoy caring for young children, this is the role for you!

As a Worship Care volunteer, you’ll care for the needs of kids 3 years old and younger during Sunday morning worship—serving snacks, changing diapers, soothing little ones, and supporting potty-training routines. You’ll also teach a Bible lesson, lead crafts, and oversee playtime in the classroom and Toddler Room (indoor playground).

Whether you’re meeting a practical need or teaching biblical truth, you’ll be the hands and feet of Jesus to the youngest members of our church family—and that shapes how these little ones experience God’s love.

If you enjoy helping people feel welcome but aren’t super chatty with every stranger you encounter, this role is perfect for you! Volunteers in this position stand at the entrances to the Worship Center and greet people as they enter for worship on Sunday mornings. You’ll distribute sermon notes, answer any questions people have, and help guests find seating as needed.

This role would be great for parents and children who want to serve together! The goal is to have two greeters posted at each entrance so that if someone needs directions, one greeter can take them where they need to go and the other greeter can continue serving at the Worship Center door.

Young Adults ministry is for single adults ages 23-34. In this role, you will lead a
discipleship group of 3-5 young adults. These groups are same gender, men’s
groups and women’s groups. This includes weekly meetings involving:
accountability, prayer, and Scripture discussion. There are 90 day group options
(roughly 12 weeks) and year long group options.

This role matters because of the greater mission we’ve been given by Jesus, The
Great Commission. These groups are intentional tools used to make disciples
who make disciples.

The person who would best fit this role would be one who has a heart to see
young adults mature in their faith and follow Jesus more fully. This person must
be able to teach and counsel. This person must also be highly organized and
dependable.

These groups meet any time during the week, once a week. There is a 12 week
and year-long discipleship group option. The group leader ultimately determines
the time. Should be committed to once a week for either 12 weeks or for a whole year.

Are you an adult—or a married couple—over 35 looking for an opportunity to invest in the next generation? Look no further! As a Young Adults Life Group mentor, you’ll serve as a steady, encouraging presence in Sunday morning Life Groups for young adults (singles in their 20s–mid-30s), offering wisdom and support to spur on younger believers in life and faith.

In this role, you’ll show up consistently to Life Group on Sunday mornings and stay connected with young adults throughout the week—checking in with them, celebrating wins, and simply being available when life gets hard.

The heart behind this role is multigenerational discipleship: helping young adults see what faithfulness looks like a few steps further down the road and walking with them as they figure out how to follow Jesus through singleness, career changes, relationships, and everything in between.

To be successful in this role, you need to be reliable—the kind of person who’s responsive and available to support others when they need it. You should also have a genuine desire to minister to young adults and point them to Christ and the ability to offer Scripture-led counsel.

Teaching and shepherding young adults life groups on a weekly basis.

Our teachers are our frontline shepherds of the ministry. They have the most
consistent access to teaching and guiding young adults in their walks with Christ
than anyone else in the young adults ministry. This is possibly the most important
position in our ministry.

The requirements for this role would be all the elder qualifications found in 1
Timothy 3. This role is able to be filled by qualified men. The class can be hosted
by a married couple with the husband serving as the lead teacher and shepherd
of the group. There is a women’s group if a qualified woman would like to teach.

Available at least 75% of Sundays a year with the ability to have an assistant
teacher fill in. Also availability at least monthly to meet with Young Adults outside
of class time. This is an ongoing commitment.

Do you love sports and investing in students? This is the spot for you! As a youth sports assistant coach, you’ll support the head coach in teaching sport-specific skills to students while demonstrating a Christlike attitude. You’ll help run practices, communicate with parents, and provide coaching direction for the team during games.

While you should be familiar with the sport you’re coaching and the skills required, but it’s also important for you to be passionate about sharing the Gospel with students and parents who aren’t following Christ. Many families come to play sports at Bellevue but may never attend a Sunday or Wednesday service. So for many, this ministry is the first place they hear the Gospel!

There are leagues for students in pre-K through 12th grade, and these are the sports available:

If you enjoy being in a recreational environment, building new relationships, and sharing the love of Jesus with nonbelievers, this is the role for you! As a youth sports connector, your sole responsibility is to love players and their families who don’t attend our church. You’ll intentionally get to know them, be their friend, share the Gospel and devotionals with them, and embody Jesus as you help them feel welcome at Bellevue.

More than our coach roles, youth sports connectors look beyond the players and care for the whole family. Lots of people participate in Bellevue’s sports leagues but never attend a Sunday or Wednesday service. This ministry is the first place many are able to hear the Gospel—this role is crucial in making that happen!
