Groups Expo
On August 4, 11, and 18 pastors and group leaders will be available to answer your questions and tell you more about the different groups we have. Simply stop by the East or West Lobby after Sunday morning worship.
Already in a group? Invite a neighbor! You can ask the person who lives next door, the person who sits on the same row as you at church, your office neighbor—anyone you know who is disconnected and in need of community. Our doors are open!
Everyone needs a group
At Bellevue, we offer four different types of groups to help you in your walk with the Lord.
Hot Topic Classes
Join us for one of three short-term groups where you can take a deep dive into a relevant subject. Each group meets on Sunday mornings.
World Religions: Reaching Those of Other Faiths
August 11–September 15
8:00 a.m. | W209
It has been estimated that there are 10,000 religions throughout the world, but a handful of religions have become the most prominent. Through this class you’ll survey the top religions of the world and come to understand the core beliefs of each one. By doing that, you’ll be equipped to reach followers of other religions with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! (Led by Nathan Barley)
How to Fight Fire with Fire: Growing in Apologetics
August 11–September 15
9:15 a.m. | W209
Followers of Christ are called to defend their faith (1 Peter 3:15), but not every believer is a seasoned defender of the Christian worldview. Through this class you’ll learn the foundational truths of the Christian faith and be equipped to defend those truths in light of a world that aims to deconstruct them. (Led by Wesley Wright)
The Circle Maker: Praying Circles Around Your Biggest Dreams and Greatest Plans by Mark Batterson
August 11–September 1
11:00 a.m. | W207
Learn how to claim God-given promises, pursue God-sized dreams, and seize God-ordained opportunities. Your family, job, church, problems, goals, and dreams will be impacted as you learn to take your prayer life to the next level!
