God called Jim Cymbala to the ministry soon after he entered the business world. Today Pastor Cymbala oversees a congregation of several thousand people in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Brooklyn Tabernacle’s Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting, though very small at the start, remains a central feature in the life of the church to this day. Pastor Cymbala received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and married his childhood sweetheart, Carol. They have three children and six grandchildren.
