CHRISTMAS STORE

The Christmas season is almost here and we encourage you to Serve Out through the Bellevue Christmas Store. The gifts you donate will help provide Christmas for children in need throughout our community. This year’s Christmas Store will take place at Bellevue Frayser on December 21.

GIVE

Purchase Christmas gifts for specific age and gender groups for the Christmas Store!

SERVE

There are three ways to Serve Out through Bellevue’s Christmas store. Click below to
learn more!

DONATE

Funds that are donated will be used to purchase additional gifts for the Christmas store.

PHILOSOPHY

The Christmas Store seeks to empower members of our community who may be experiencing financial difficulties by providing an opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts at an affordable price. Gifts are available to our guests at a significantly reduced rate (75% off retail value), which allows them to purchase gifts and give them to their children on Christmas Day. This method restores dignity to the gift-giving part of the Family Christmas by providing our guests with a hand-up instead of a hand-out.

We are asking Bellevue Members to purchase and donate gifts priced $25 – $200 for the Christmas Store. Life Groups are assigned to one of four age groups ranging from birth to 12 years. This ensures there is an adequate quantity and  variety of gifts for each age group. These gifts will be made available through
the Christmas Store at Bellevue Frayser to registered guests.

Christmas Store guests will hear the message of the gospel and have an opportunity to respond. In addition to the purchased gifts, each family will be given 2 boxes of food.

**All money collected from our guests during the Christmas Store will be used to help offset the costs of this event.

If you know of a family in need please contact Tiare Santos to see if they are eligible to participate in the Christmas Store.

ways you can

give

We ask that all gifts be in the price range of $25-$200. Please bring gifts to Bellevue Appling from November 18 – December 12 and drop them off at one of the collection bins located in each of the 3 lobbies. There are also collection areas at the Bella Vista and Frayser campuses.

To help you choose a gift to give, please choose whether you are in a Life Group or Not.

not in a life group

To help fill in the age groups that we usually have gaps, please purchase gifts for one of the two age groups:

  • Birth-3 years old
  • 10-12 years old

Life Group Assignments
  • Life Groups are assigned age groups in which to buy gifts. This provides an adequate distribution of gifts through each age group.
  • Class members can buy gifts individually OR pool their money in order to purchase the more expensive items.
  • Place a piece of masking tape on the gift and write the retail value on it along with the age group.
  • Do not wrap gifts.
  • If your class considers purchasing bicycles, ask if someone could bring those directly to Bellevue Frayser. If this is not possible just leave them at one of the collection bins on the Appling campus.
