English as a Second Language (Tuesdays)
English classes are available for internationals in the Memphis area who want to improve their conversational English skills and learn about the American culture. Teachers instruct using the Bible and English as a Second Language materials. This valuable program provides a lifeline to people who are now residing in a new country with a different culture and language. If you know someone who could benefit from these classes, please encourage them to come.
Class options:
Co-ed: Tuesdays, September 15–November 17 | 6:30 p.m.
Women only: Wednesdays, September 16–November 18 | 9:30 a.m.
Registration is not required. The class meets in the adult commons area on the second floor, and childcare is available for the Wednesday morning group. Workbooks are $5.
