Orphan Care

Bellevue believes God calls many couples to local and global orphan ministry through care and adoption.

On any given day in Shelby County, over 1,200 kids are in our state’s foster care system through no fault of their own. Of these children, nearly 75 are legally available for adoption and are awaiting their forever family. The rest of the children need a loving foster family to care for them while they wait to go home with their biological families.

Bellevue has resources to answer your questions and help you get started fostering or adopting. We also have ways for you to support the families who are currently fostering or adopting. Not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone is called to care.
