Salvation is the glorious work of God created to redeem His creation. It is the gift we receive that brings us into a right relationship with God. At times, in the midst of the Good News, I have found myself doubting my salvation, wondering if I am really saved. Have you ever felt like that? Have you ever doubted your salvation? Today, I want to talk to you about the assurance of salvation.

What is Advent?

Advent comes from the Latin words “adventus” and “advenire” which mean “arrival” and “to come.” Today, advent is more broadly referred to as “the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event.” Christmas Advent is celebrated the four Sundays leading up to December 25 as we anticipate the celebration of Jesus’ birth.
