Student Leadership University (SLU) 301

Inherit the past. Shape the future. Continue your leadership journey by learning to think bigger about the world as we dive deep into history around Europe. We want you to learn about the sacrifices made in the past and consider the worldviews of great philosophers who paved the way for us. At Student Leadership University (SLU) 301, you will learn you are called to shape history and leave a legacy for Jesus that is larger than yourself.

‍Who: Students who have completed SLU 101 and SLU 201 and are in 9th–12th grade.

Sign-up dates: October 1–November 1, 2024

Cost: $5,300 ($4188 to SLU – which includes program fee and international flight costs, $1112 to to Bellevue – which includes domestic airfare, tips, baggage fees, etc.)

By attending SLU, you will receive a full scholarship for Beach Week.

Cancellation policy (per SLU guidelines): If you cancel after April 20, 30% of total cost will be forfeited. After May 15, 50% of total cost will be forfeited. 60 days prior to departure, 100% will be forfeited. All money is due 90 days before departure. Any registration not paid by this date will insure a $25 late fee.

Passport: Everyone registered for SLU 301 will need a passport. The passport must be valid for six months after the completion of the trip and have two blank pages.

How to sign up & payment schedules: There are two registrations needed to sign up for SLU 301:

Step 1: Register with slulead.com
Register as part of “Bellevue Baptist Church.” Departure city “DFW.”
$500 due at registration. $750 due by February 21, 2025. Final balance due April 21, 2025.

Step 2: Register with Bellevue using the link provided at the top of this page.
$500 non-refundable deposit due at registration with final balance due by April 21, 2025.

Other dates: Two required SLU trainings. One will be before the trip and one after. (Dates and times TBD)

Activities at SLU 301:

• Get a backstage pass into the lives of Churchill, Wesley, Newton, Dickens, and Bunyan.
• Explore the ideas that led C.S. Lewis to Christ inside Holy Trinity Church, where he worshiped.
• Learn the meaning of sacrifice while standing on the beaches of Normandy.
• Come to understand church history in St. Paul’s Cathedral, Wesley’s Chapel, and Winchester Cathedral.
