Inherit the past. Shape the future. Continue your leadership journey by learning to think bigger about the world as we dive deep into history around Europe. We want you to learn about the sacrifices made in the past and consider the worldviews of great philosophers who paved the way for us. At Student Leadership University (SLU) 301, you will learn you are called to shape history and leave a legacy for Jesus that is larger than yourself.
Who: Students who have completed SLU 101 and SLU 201 and are in 9th–12th grade.
Speakers: Dr. Jay Strack, Dr. Brent Crowe, Dr. Graham Lacey, and Dr. John Lennox
Cost: $5,000.
By attending SLU, you will receive a full scholarship for Beach Week.
Payments: A $1,000 nonrefundable deposit is due upon registration. The remaining balance is due at or before the last training meeting.
Other Important Dates: Three required SLU trainings. These meetings will take place in the High School Room from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., and lunch will be included (dates TBD).
Activities at SLU 301:
• Get a backstage pass into the lives of Churchill, Wesley, Newton, Dickens, and Bunyan.
• Explore the ideas that led C.S. Lewis to Christ inside Holy Trinity Church, where he worshiped.
• Learn the meaning of sacrifice while standing on the beaches of Normandy.
• Come to understand church history in St. Paul’s Cathedral, Wesley’s Chapel, and Winchester Cathedral.
