Pre-Ballet Teacher

Part-time

Major Duties:

  • Introduce young children (ages 5–6) to the fundamentals of ballet in a fun and engaging manner.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive environment where children can explore their talents and develop confidence.
  • Teach basic ballet techniques, coordination, and musicality using a provided syllabus.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to parents as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to choreograph and coordinate performances twice yearly.

Qualifications:

At least eight years of formal ballet training.

  • Experience teaching ballet, specifically to preschool-aged children.
  • Strong knowledge of ballet fundamentals and terminology as well as basic anatomy.
  • Patience and a love for working with young children.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

Must be an active member of a Christian, Bible-believing church.

Days and Hours:

Afternoons and/or evenings: Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays.

Exact days and times dependent on class needs and applicant availability.
