Mission Memphis

Go on a mission trip right here in the 901!

July 20–26

Experience the power of serving this summer with Mission Memphis! Together, we’ll share the love of Christ with our neighbors, offer real help to those in need, and spread the hope of the Gospel to our city.

Mission Memphis is a week-long missions project right in our city—a time when our whole church comes together to care for the people in our community. There are a variety of service projects that take place on different days and at different times throughout the week. Some projects require your attendance every day, while other projects ask you to serve only for a few days or even a few hours. Regardless of which project you choose, we want to give our time, love, and effort wholeheartedly for the entire week!

We can’t do it without YOU! So grab a few friends or your family, sign up for a project, and join us in sharing the light and love of Jesus with Memphis.

Good to know

Do I have to participate the full week of the event?

No, Mission Memphis offers various projects at various times throughout the week. Serve as much or as little as your schedule allows. Each project has its own start time, location, and skill sets needed. Use the filters to narrow down the options!

Which project should I choose?
When choosing a project, first pray! The Lord may use this week to challenge you, put you in a place to use your giftings, and grow you.
Will there be training involved?

Yes! On Sunday, July 20, all volunteers will be equipped for the specific way that they’re going to serve. Please see your confirmation email for the location of your training. You’ll hear from gifted teachers, and then we’ll celebrate the beginning of the week with a time of prayer, worship, and ice cream! You won’t want to miss it!

Is there a cost to participate?

Nope—it’s free to participate in Mission Memphis!

Can I bring my kids?

There are several family-friendly projects, but be sure to check the project details. Some are not suitable for children.

Please note: Childcare will not be provided.

Are meals provided?

Lunch is provided for select projects.

Not sure about your project? Connect with your project leader or contact the Missions office.

Do I have to be a Bellevue member to participate?

Bellevue membership is not required, but each volunteer must complete a Confidential Safety Application in order to participate. This helps ensure we’re providing a safe environment for all volunteers and all individuals we’re serving. All information you provide on the form will be kept confidential.

Am I allowed to serve in two different projects?

Yes! Be sure to register for both projects for the times you wish to serve.

Is transportation provided to the project site?

It depends on the project—for some projects, we’ll provide transportation. Be sure to look at the details when you register!

How can I prepare for Mission Memphis?

We’re praying for God to move greatly in your life and in the lives of others during Mission Memphis. Begin praying about the project and people you’re going to serve, and ask God to use you to be a catalyst for spiritual awakening in our city.
