Please pray for my husband, Lamin. He grew up in a Muslim family. He has 4 sons. The oldest son became a believer in Jesus Christ. He was baptized at Bellevue. Spiritual warfare erupted. My husband decided to start practicing Muslim beliefs to stop Christianity from reaching the younger boys. I am praying that the Lord will save him and the boys.

Dominique
My name is Dominique. I'm a single mom of 3 children. I have a son, Jeremy age 16 and 2 daughters, Danity age 15 and Madison 11. I'm reaching out because my family desperately needs help.
I left Memphis to try to start over new in Jackson since my sister was moving there. I thought it would be a great chance to leave and get a new start. Unfortunately, several months after arriving I had to flee due to domestic violence. I feared for the safety of my children and myself. I was being beaten on almost everyday and had to leave everything we accumulated there. We only had the clothing on our backs. When we got back to Memphis things were looking okay. I was able to transfer my job and we were fine until the end of March 2025. when I was hospitalized for several weeks causing me to lose my job. After I lost my job everything went down hill. I wasn't able to pay rent , utilities, my car payments nor provide for my children properly. I tried reaching out to just about every agency for resources to avoid becoming homeless but no one helped. On May 29, 2025 I was evicted and lost everything I owned like furniture, clothing, food etc. We had nowhere to go so we had to sleep in my car on a hospital, Saint Francis, parking lot. Then on June 13, 2025 lost my car. I kept reaching out to different organizations but without my car I had no way to any place to seek help. After I lost my car shamefully we had to start squatting to get a place to sleep at night. This is how low we fell. This is still what we are doing currently but I know this will not work. I just have nothing else to help with. We walk in the hot sun all day long because we can't be in these homes all day considering I'm not renting these homes. Sometimes we find ourselves walking as late as 3am to 4am just trying to find a house to sleep in. We have to go to different homes each 1 to 2 days. Sadly, this is what has become of us.
I can't feed my children currently because my food stamp case was closed due to them sending out a letter that I never received. I'm waiting on an appointment from DHS now.
We have nothing. No food, clothing, hygiene products, nothing. I am still reaching out to places but aren't getting any help at all. I'm losing hope. I feel lost. I don't know what else to do. My children are very understanding and they try to help when they can but they are sad as well and don't understand why this is happening.
My family desperately needs help. Being homeless with no place to go, no clothing and no food to eat has really affected my children. I'm really trying to keep us all together and it's been so difficult. Please pray for us and with us.

Pray that the job offer I got has no impediments. Pray I find a second, part-time, job to help me be able to pay my bills. I Thank God for the offer.
Pray I find a lawyer to help me correct the wrongs my brother is doing (refusing to turn in the most recent will that is in my favor). Pray the lawyer works on contingency.
Pray I have more opportunities to play/perform musically.
Thank you for praying for me.
