Pray for me to be more consistent in prayer. I want to go to Peru next summer after I graduate. But, I need to get my life in order. I am asking for prayer to overcome the "stuff" in my life that is holding me back.

Pray for my son, Nylynn. He is 20 years old and he needs help with sobriety and choosing better people to hang around with. He is easily influenced. Pray that God will take hold of his life and that he will surrender to the Lord.

Pray for our grown family to be saved and to get in Bible believing churches. Pray for our two teenage grandsons, Sam and Noah. They live out of town and are from divorced families. Parents have joint custody, so the boys go from house to house. Pray for the Lord to watch over them and to put Christians in their lives. They are 18 and 16 years old.

My daughter and I found a place to live. So that is a praise report. But we will need a roommate until I can pay off some bills. I also am having problems at work. I need a new job for next year. Maybe sooner. I am looking for a job as an independent study teacher or homeschool teacher. Just also give me protection from the principal at my school.

I have just graduated with my MA in English language teaching (TESOL) from Biola University. I’m waiting on the Lord to lead me overseas to teach in the right country and context. Pray that I will truly go as a missionary, not just as an English teacher. Pray that God will lead me to where the harvest is plentiful, and the workers are needed. Pray that God will lead me to a country and context where I will grow into being a missionary, learn the language, lead people to Christ, and in discipleship and growth in their faith. Pray for wisdom as I research where I should go, and begin applying for teaching positions.

I feel like the sermon this week was directed at me. I often feel like I just keep suffering and nothing ever happens that goes my way. It is just endless. I also am having issues forgiving my father for favoring my brother and leaving him financially okay while I have come close to losing everything. Pray that I can get the loan for the lawyer retainer. Pray that my job is secure and that I can deal with all the bullying that is happening in my class(es) and that I can resolve it positively. Pray that my brother does not keep me from getting my inheritance. Pray I find a part-time job that is lucrative and not going to kill me physically.

Please pray for my coworker, Ms. L. She is mentally and physically struggling with changes in the work place and what feels like is an attack on her performance as a dedicated employee. She feels like it’s time to move on but she has a teenage daughter to take care of and she’s a Single Mom. She has lost her hope in things getting better and feels like God has abandoned her. This morning she had a breakdown in the office and decided that she would resign. Pray her faith and trust in God is strengthened through this season.

I am dealing with some type of lung infection and this has been going on since Friday. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and my regular provider was unavailable and I saw a partner in the group and I feel like we weren’t on the same page. I’m still running a fever and feeling pretty bad. He thinks it’s a bad viral upper respiratory infection and is treating for that. I feel it’s more than likely bacterial. Please pray for healing and strengthening. Pray for complications to be avoided and for me to be in good health. I fear there’s a risk of hospitalization if this is not treated properly.
