Prayer

Day of Prayer and Fasting | Friday, April 3
As a church, we are setting aside the third day of every month in 2020 as a day of prayer and fasting. We are asking you to commit to pray for 30 minutes on that day, and if the Lord leads you, to also fast. Whether you fast from one meal or for the entire day, please seek God’s presence and power during this time.

First of all, I want to thank God for HOW GOOD HE has been to us, more than we deserve. I just would like to ask prayer, looks like my husband will be laid off until this mess is over, my daughter (works in the restaurant industry) will lose her job. Mine is ok for the moment. So, would you mind lifting up my husband's job foremost - he is deployed, and pray that he will stay in theater and can keep his job. Sounds somewhat selfish, but if we are all losing our jobs, we can't help others, and this might turn into rioting, which I hope it does not. I pray for myself that God gives me wisdom and the true LOVE for others, I do need Him now in and the coming days even more. Thank you for praying, He is ABLE, but the prayer truly is that HE is WILLING. In Jesus,

Please pray for my children’s father. He has drifted deeply away from the Lord. He is a Police Officer and has lost all FAITH in God. He is not the same person he was and is very lost. The more I talk about God the more escalated things get. It’s a very difficult time for us. I want our children to know who Jesus is and have a relationship with God and it seems he could care less if the kids go to church and learn Bible verses.

My 8 year old son is running a 102.8 fever, has a mild cough and headache. Called the doctor and she recommended staying home as long as possible. The hospitals can only offer supportive care as there are no meds for COVID-19. It could be the flu and if he has a sore throat in the morning, it could be strep. Do I want to get out and expose him to even more stuff if he wakes feeling worse. I'd like to ask for wisdom and for a hedge of protection. We have 5 children. Thank you.

Father God,

We’re facing tough times. Some right now are suffering from isolation, panic & fear from the Coronavirus, family rejection, sickness, death of loved ones, and so much more. We ask for your comfort, help, healing, and covering.

Getting on this resource for prayer is a blessing. Sometimes, we feel no one cares, but if we seek you, we will find you.

My prayer request is just for the church as a whole. I pray that we ALL understand in the midst of anything we go through, you’re still looking down on us, your ear is still open to your children, and you comfort your children. So Father, Thank you for keeping us. We pray for our government and local leaders to make the Godly and correct choices for our country. We thank you for being able to congregate in our hearts as we move towards online services and that many tune in to hear your word. Thank you for the many that will come to Christ and learn of you from all across the world. I say Thank you, In Jesus Name!

My friend Glen is very ill with fever, his immune system is low from cancer surgery months ago. Need prayers that the meds he is taking at home will keep him out of the hospital and away from the virus that is so contagious. Thank you

As we were walking (to enjoy the warm weather) our neighborhood Friday morning my Sweetheart, Wanda, fell on a slippery sidewalk and broke her hip. She is in the hospital and will have repair surgery Friday afternoon or Saturday. Please pray for comfort and peace for my dear wife.

Here's an update on my friend, Andra, who is dying of AML at age 51. She was using a new chemo regimen for 14 days to try and correct her bone marrow numbers, but it did no good. On Wednesday, they brought in hospice. They expect her to pass away sometime in the next two weeks. In the meantime, please pray for comfort, peace, and an overwhelming sense of God's presence and grace - for Andra, her husband (James), and their adult kids (Peter and Nicole).

They live in the Nashville area. Andra asked James to take her to the beach one last time, so they're in Pensacola until the middle of next week. It won't be long before she sees sweet Jesus face to face, but she needs our prayers more than ever in these final days.
