School Supplies Giveaway
This year’s School Supplies Giveaway is in partnership with Mission Memphis, Bellevue’s missions project right in our city!Every child deserves to start the school year well—equipped and ready to learn. As part of Mission Memphis, Bellevue is partnering with Dexter K–8 and Kate Bond Elementary to host a School Supplies Giveaway on Saturday, July 25. Through this event, families from both schools will receive essential school supplies at no cost, which will help ease their financial burdens and create opportunities to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors.
Are you ready to make an impact? Your support will help provide supplies for students and enable our church to connect with families throughout our city. Here are a few ways you can love your neighbors well through this year’s giveaway:
Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help organize supplies before the event and serve families on giveaway day. Opportunities include greeting guests, assisting with registration, distributing supplies, providing hospitality, and helping with cleanup.
Donate
The greatest need for this year’s giveaway is financial support. Giving online allows Missions Ministry to purchase supplies in bulk and ensure students receive exactly what they need for a successful school year.
If you’d like to donate physical supplies, a short list of items is available below. Collection bins are in the West, South, and East Lobbies until July 19.
School Supplies Shopping List
- Pencils
- Notebook paper (college ruled)
- Spiral notebooks
- Folders with brads and pockets
- Crayola crayons
- Composition notebooks
- Glue sticks
- Headphones (no earbuds)
This year’s giveaway is specifically for the families of Dexter K–8 and Kate Bond Elementary. If your child doesn’t attend one of these schools but you need assistance with school supplies, contact the Missions office at missions@bellevue.org.
