There are times to speed up, but there must also be times to rest and exercise and care for yourself. Poor physical health can hurt ministry.

A balanced ministry will invest in the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of your community.

Ultimately, we have a choice our view of God can be shaped by our own expectations and experiences, by the perceptions of other people, or by the Word of God itself.

In the Old Testament when a special moment with God was to be remembered it was often marked with a stone, what I call “stones of remembrance.” The words sustaining, providing, and convincing have all been a part of my stones of remembrance.

Can people trust your heart?

We are not meant to pursue Him on our own but alongside a community of believers pushing one another to be more like Christ.

You should hire people you like. You spend way too much time with them not to like them.
